Brian qualified as a UK Chartered accountant and holds an undergraduate degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge. He holds certifications with the following leading organizations:

Brian specializes in leadership and career development coaching for senior executives and high potential managers working in large international companies. In the last 9 years, he has coached executives and senior managers of 28 different nationalities across 6 continents and several major sectors (including banking, insurance, chemical, telecommunications, automotive, pharma, retail and distribution).
A former CEO, COO and FD of overseas insurance subsidiaries of large global groups, Brian has broad business acumen and extensive hands-on leadership and change management experience at country, regional and global head office levels. He has worked in over 20 countries and spent over 14 years of his career living in Brazil and Hong Kong. He was accountable as CEO for businesses up to US$500mn in turnover (Brazil) and 1,500 staff (Brazil) and as a Latin America regional executive for businesses with twice these metrics. As a CEO and regional executive he has held responsibility for businesses in Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Uruguay, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau.
